Relationship explanation and advice! Why would you do this ladies?

So, I am friends with this girl and we hang out in PE. I have liked her on and off for a while, but I am kind of shy, so I just act friendly and don't give myself away; I was waiting until she showed some interest in me. Recently, she has shown interest, as far as I can tell. She has started running with me and chatting more with me alone, as well as focusing more on me than having a conversation with another friend who might be around. She looks me right in the eye, and she seems to walk on her way to class so that our paths intersect (or maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part). Last thursday, we spent the whole period together. We were getting tested for body composition and we broke into groups to use this tool which grabs the skin and determines the % of fat. Anyway, she automatically included me in her group and she took the tool from her friend when it was time to test me, doing it herself (note: this test involved touching my leg and arm). Later in the day, she made a point of talking to me a bit amidst all of her friends. Friday, we talked as much as we could in PE, and everything seemed great. Friday afternoon, I texted her, asking how she did on her drivers license test. We then texted for a while longer, and I called her because I don't have unlimited text. We talked until she had to eat dinner and we wished each other a good weekend.





Today, things seemed different. She didn't meet my eyes as much, and she seemed resistant to talk to me. During the run, I slowed up and ran with her and we talked some but she didn't seem to want to initiate conversation. After the run, she quickly became engaged in conversation with a group of friends and I walked off. In between periods, she seemed to keep her head down, and possibly purposely ignored my presence.





Why do you think she is acting like this? Did I do or not do something? Did I misinterpret her interest in me? She is alittle shy, maybe did someone say something to her? What should I do next? I would text just to say hi. Then ask that you would like to run again soon. If she doesn't respond soon maybe she is just busy. Let some time go by and ask again.
